2024 Fantasy Outlook
Wilson had an impressive rookie season in 2023, coming in as a third-round pick and earning a starting job right away. Despite playing the first half of the year with backup quarterbacks, Wilson had at least 56 yards in five of his first eight games. After Week 8, he dealt with a shoulder injury and missed four of the next five games. In Wilson’s first two games back, he finished without any catches despite starting and seeing seven total targets. He then clicked with QB Kyler Murray in the last two games of the season, catching 10 of 12 targets for 130 yards and a TD. After the Cardinals added Marvin Harrison in the draft, Wilson projects to be the No. 2 receiver, with a good opportunity to continue playing a lot of snaps. Target volume is a bigger question mark, as Murray really honed in on TE Trey McBride last year and also seems to like slot man Greg Dortch. And while Wilson produced 9.7 YPT last year, he drew targets on only 14.7 percent of his routes -- a similar rate as players like DJ Chark, Darnell Mooney and Jahan Dotson. Read Past Outlooks

Temporarily atop depth chart
Wilson is part of a thin WR room in Arizona after the team traded Rondale Moore and lost Marquise Brown in free agency, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
ANALYSIS
That said, the Cardinals own the fourth overall pick in a draft with three elite wide receiver prospects and might end up having their choice of the three. They also have time to pursue veterans, though journeyman Chris Moore has been the only free-agent addition so far. Wilson came in as a third-round pick last season and started 12 of his 13 games while posting excellent per-target efficiency numbers -- 65.5 percent catch rate, 14.9 YPR, 9.7 YPT -- but his low rate of targets per route (14.1 percent) leaves him as somewhat of a question mark. He's got opportunity and size (6-2, 213) working in his favor, while speed (4.58 40) and age (turned 24 in February) were dings on the prospect profile coming out of Stanford. If nothing else, Wilson seems to be in pretty good position to reprise his role as a starter who doesn't see that many targets.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Poised for bigger rookie role
Wilson, a rookie third-round pick, appears set to fill a bigger role in 2023 than originally expected following the release of DeAndre Hopkins on Friday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson has Hopkins-like size at 6-foot-2, 213 pounds, and he put plenty of impressive measurables on record during his pre-draft workouts. Remaining healthy was Wilson's biggest challenge during his college days at Stanford -- he played in only 16 games since the start of the 2020 season due to foot and collarbone injuries -- but he's reportedly completely healthy as training camp approaches and will now be in line to likely fill a No. 4 receiver role behind Marquise Brown, Rondale Moore and Greg Dortch.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
The Cardinals opted to use the second of their third-round picks in the 2023 Draft on Wilson, and with DeAndre Hopkins no longer on the team, the rookie will have a chance to carve out a role quickly alongside fellow wideouts Marquise Brown, Rondale Moore and Greg Dortch. Wilson was afflicted by injuries more often than not during his five years at Stanford, recording 134 catches at a clip of 12.4 yards in 36 contests, but if he can stay healthy this season, he should be able to use his 6-2, 213-pound stature on boundary targets at the very least.
