ANALYSIS
As his numbers indicate, McFarland found running room at a premium in his return from a multi-game absence due to a shoulder injury, but he made up for it with two long catch-and-run touchdowns that showcased his superior speed. McFarland struck first with a 52-yard touchdown grab to cap off the Brahmas' first drive, and he followed that up with a 37-yard score with just over three minutes late in the first half. McFarland logged only two fewer carries than backfield mate John Lovett in his return, so it's possible he retakes the lead-back role in a Week 9 Saturday afternoon matchup versus the Stallions.
