NEWS UPDATE
Colon (shoulder) has completed the first two phases of his rehab and will begin throwing in Arizona this week, the LA Times reports. His return date is still an unknown.

Chances are, Colon won't be ready for the start of the season, but it might not be as dire as a recent report that suggested he'll be out until August. "That sentence jumped out at me," GM Bill Stoneman said of the report. "As competitive as Bart is, we won't know when he'll be ready until he starts throwing. But everyone is saying he's done real well in physical therapy, he's lost some weight and is in good shape. We have to let his rehab run its course."
