He had been named general manager on June 1, 2009 and the team failed to make the postseason in four seasons under his leadership.   5/22/2008 The Stars signed co-general managers Brett Hull and Les Jackson to three-year extensions Thursday. Hull and Jackson were named interim co-general managers on November 13 and helped the Stars reach the Western Conference finals for the first time since 2000. The pair made a couple of notable moves this past season, acquiring center Brad Richards from Tampa Bay and signing center Mike Ribeiro to a five-year contract.
