The king of the position, Peterson ran over defenses to be the seventh 2,000-yard rusher of all-time en route to the MVP. He is eyeing bigger numbers this season, and if he is healthy, he is the top back in the league. In his six NFL seasons, he has posted double-digit TD totals in every year.

Martin burst onto the scene in his rookie season, and his rushing and receiving totals highlighted his emergence as a dual-threat back. It will be tough to duplicate his 2012 numbers, but he is the featured back in Tampa Bay and will see the bulk of the carries. At 5-9, 215, his running style brings about flashbacks of the great Emmitt Smith in the backfield.

Foster saw the lion's share of the carries in 2012 with 351 and produced admirably, totaling 1,400 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns. His reception numbers have decreased in each of the last three seasons, but in the Texans' offense, he is still an elite combo running back and productive fantasy force.
