Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said that Kemp (shoulder) is on track to be ready for Opening Day.

The plan for Kemp will have him begin hitting again in late December or early January, and he's expected to be ready for the start of spring training in some capacity. Once he begins hitting again, it should become easier to monitor his progress as the procedure was on his left (non-throwing) shoulder.
