NEWS UPDATE
Berkman (knee) did not have a torn ACL when he was examined Monday, but has been diagosed with a torn meniscus and will still miss six-to-eight weeks, B.J. Rains of Fox Sports Midwest reports.
ROTOWIRE FANTASY ANALYSIS
The Cards are sending Berkman for another opinion later in the week, so he's not entirely out of the woods yet, but it's potentially good news for the veteran first baseman as he could be back some time after the All-Star break provided that the second opinion doesn't confirm the previously suggested torn ACL.
