The Eagles have traded Kolb to the Cardinals for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a second-round pick, Fox Sports' Adam Caplan reports. To make the deal happen, Kolb will sign a five-year extension for over $63 million, with over $20 million of that guaranteed.

All in all, the Cards paid a steep price for Kolb, but they are hoping that acquiring him brings the team the stability at QB they have been missing since the departure of Kurt Warner.
