NEWS UPDATE

Johnson, who missed last season because of knee injury, reported feeling much better after Friday night's game than he did after Tuesday's preseason opener, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

ROTOWIRE FANTASY ANALYSIS

The game Tuesday was his first after a 17-month layoff. "Way better," Johnson said. "Tuesday I probably felt like a three out of 10 and (Friday) I probably felt like a six or a seven. Still a lot of room for improvement. But I thought that I skated better, moved the puck better. I just felt way better about my game. It's amazing what a difference a game can make." Johnson was on the ice 20:06 Friday night after a 23-minute stint on Tuesday.
