Sadler has been chosen as the primary sub for Denny Hamlin. All that's preventing an official announcement, as of Wednesday morning, is a few details to work out with sponsor Fed Ex, frontstretch.com reports.
ROTOWIRE FANTASY ANALYSIS
The great news for Joe Gibbs Racing in this unfortunate series of events is that they have a reliable veteran like Sadler on the payroll to step in for Hamlin in the No. 11 Sprint Cup car. He brings to the table 430 career starts at NASCAR's top level and the ability to pilot the team's Toyota to strong finishes in Hamlin's absence. We look for Sadler to be his relief driver for most of Hamlin's medical hiatus.
