NEWS UPDATE
Ryans was traded Tuesday to the Eagles for a fourth-round draft pick, the Houston Chronicle reports.
ROTOWIRE FANTASY ANALYSIS
The Eagles needed to add a linebacker, and now they've added one who totaled 123 tackles in 2009. Health is a bit of an issue, however. After losing most of his 2010 season to an Achilles' tendon injury, Ryans struggled through some nagging injuries last season, which depressed his IDP value. He also returns to a 4-3 defense, for which he is more suited, after Houston switched to a 3-4 last year. For Houston, Darryl Sharpton now becomes the starting middle linebacker.
