Bowyer's No. 15 Toyota failed post-qualifying inspection after Daytona 500 pole qualifying on Sunday afternoon at Daytona International Speedway.

Bowyer's Toyota Camry failed to pass the height sticks during post-qualifying inspection. This critical failure negates Bowyer's qualifying laps and his time is disallowed. The new Michael Waltrip Racing driver will have to rely on his finishing spot in Thursday's Gatorade Duel race to make the Daytona 500 field.
