McCollum finally removed the protective boot from his left foot last Friday, CSN Northwest reports.
ROTOWIRE FANTASY ANALYSIS
Previously, McCollum would only remove the boot in order to ride a stationary bike, lift small weights, and fit in pool work. With the hindrance out of the way, his recovery from a fractured fifth metatarsal in his left foot can begin in earnest, with an X-ray Wednesday to determine the next phase in his rehabilitation. His current regimen involves full body lifting (lunges and squats), two-ball dribbling, finishes around the hoop with both hands, shooting to form, and some jump shooting. Whatever he progresses to next, McCollum still has no definite timetable for a return to the court.
