NEWS UPDATE
Lawrie has been suspended four games for throwing his batting helmet toward the home plate umpire in Tuesday's game. He's appealing the suspension and will be in the lineup Wednesday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Frankly, we're a bit surprised that Lawrie didn't get a longer suspension, so his chances of getting the punishment reduced may be pretty slim. He'll likely miss time in the near future, however, after the appeal process runs its course.
